Queen Victoria: A Very Late 19th Century Carved and Pierced Bone Fan, the double leaf of silk satin backed with fine cotton, printed centrally with an image of Queen Victoria wearing Honiton lace and carrying a fan, surrounded by a collage of family images, from home and abroad, in the form of cartes de visite. The verso is plain. Published and Patented by Louis Felbermann of 157 The Strand, London. Guard length 13.75 inches or 35cm. Together with a cream moiré satin covered fan box, the lid interior embossed in gold script "Natalie, Sloane Street, London". Underneath, an adhesive label for "Bellini Ltd, 189 Regent Street West" and further marked in red pen with the name "Tilley" (most likely from the collection of The Tilleys'. sold a good few years ago)

Some foxing to the verso. The box covering is in need of slight repair. The silk is strong and shiny.
