Collection in eight well-filled Davo hingeless albums with slipcases, from classics onwards, mixed condition yet a fairly clean run predominantly mint/MNH from early 1900s through to 2013, plus incomplete 2014. Book 1 includes 1870 Ballon Monté cover to Brussels, spacefiller Ceres 1fr and Napoleon 10cts 'B' under neck, good range of 1876-90 'peace and commerce' incl. mint to 40cts, 'sowers' incl. 1906 35cts dark violet MNH signed (Yvert 136c, cat. €460), 1926 5fr+1fr orphelins used, sinking fund surcharges 1927 and 1928 MNH, 1928 1.50fr+8.50fr blue MNH (Yv.#252, cat. €260), 1929 Le Havre Expo ovpt mint (Yv.#257A, cat. €900) requiring expertization, 1929 and 1930 sinking fund surcharges mint, 1931 set with top value MNH (Yv.#277, cat. €235), fresh mint 10fr La Rochelle and 20fr Pont du Gard, etc, etc. Interleaf pages also for pre-cancels and other back of book incl. 1944 liberation ovpts incl. Annemasse set MNH (top value signed). Face value in 21st century is at least €2,800.
