The Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI was produced between 1986 and 1992 was a formidable little car for its time and is still often treated as a benchmark in group car tests of the newest GTI models or equivalent. Peugeot itself has never recreated this success in future GTI models, as the 205 had great success in rallying, the GTI's big sister, the Turbo 16 (T16), were the most successful cars to compete in the last two years of the WRC's Group B era, winning the 1985 and 1986 Constructors' and Drivers' titles.

The 205 GTI was also FIA approved for competition in the Group N and Group A categories.

This car comes fully restored to a very high standard. The engine has been refurbished by a specialist, with new brakes and suspension, the original wheels have been refurbished with new tyres and the half leather seats have been re-trimmed to match the original spec, original dash and steering wheel.

The colour has been changed during the restoration period from grey to white.
