A group of Chinese 18th century tea bowls, saucers, cups and a jug (some a.f.)

Comprising two jugs - jug one with replacement wicker handle, hairline crack to the back of jug where handle would have been and a chip where the lower part of handle attached to the main body, numerous paint scratches and rubbing and apparent restoration to the spout. Jug two - glaze losses to the handle, rubbing and paint loss and a chip to the spout. Three tea bowls - the first with two hairline cracks and paint scratches. the second with numerous hairline cracks and chips. The third with a hairline crack and a few flea bit chips to rim. Three saucers - the first with hairline crack and a few chips to trim, also with paint scratches., The second with rubbing, paint scratches and a couple of chips to the rim. The third with paint scratches and some firing flaws otherwise OK. Eight teacups - the first with a hairline and paint scratches. The second with numerous flea bite chips to the rim. All remaining teacups with various degrees of rubbing and paint scratches.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
