A Diamond Solitaire Ring, by Cartier, an oval brilliant cut diamond in a white claw setting, to shoulders set with graduated round brilliant cut diamonds, on a flat sided shank, total estimated diamond weight 3.40 carat approximately, finger size L1/2 see illustration

Accompanied by a GIA Diamond Grading Report by the Gemological Institute of America, dated November 22nd 2013, number GIA 5151794469, stating the diamond to weigh 3.01 carat, E colour, VVS2 clarity. The girdle of the diamond is laser inscribed with the GIA report number

The ring is in good condition. It is signed '52 PT 950' 'Cartier' '25831A. The outer shank is stamped with the French platinum convention mark. In our opinion it would test as platinum. The principle diamond is stated to measure 10.50mm x 8.14mm x 5.23mm as per the GIA report. Gross weight 4.8 grams. Condition Report made 30th January 2017.
