The Property of a Gentleman
In the late 19th century some of the finest rugs and carpets made in Iran came from the town of Marand some 40 miles north West of Tabriz. The workshops owned by one Haji Jalili produced a small number of outstanding weavings. These rugs and carpets remain much sort after today.
