In overall good original condition. There is a rectangular applied, on a slighlty diagonal angle patch repair to the reverse of the canvas which is approximate centre of the right hand side half and is approximately 12cm by 6cm with some lightly associated re-touching to the front which is not immediately apparent, but can be evidenced on close inspection with the naked eye. Canvas is slightly loose on stretched, covered in a relatively light layer of dirt and discoloured varnish, there is a bloom quality especially apparent in the darker shades of the background. Small and minor isolated patch of flaking approximately 12cm above the outstretched front legs of the recumbent greyhound, (images can be supplied upon request). The odd very minor and superficial paint loss or superficial surface scretches here and there including inthe lower left hand corner, lower right hand corner, one tiny scratch on hind quarters of the standing greyhound etc Small proud blob of discoloured varnish? at ribcage level on the standing greyhound. Overall good, sound condition
