In general minimal restoration to the surface excepting a delicate line of infilling on the right hand side forehead approx 2cms in length and just intersecting her eyebrow and possible fine and delicate strengthening to the crease between her right hand arm and body. Minor rubbing to edges . Minimal cracquelure. Florence: Re-lined, cleaned and re-varnished. In comparable condition to the former with minimal delicate and isolated infilling to a patch of cracquelure on her right hand side cheek. Minimal cracquelure. Retains good surface and impasto overall.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
