A Collection of Five Seal Fobs, unmarked, 18th and 19th century, each with an engraved hardstone matrix bearing an armorial, two bearing the arms of either Evans, Gwyn, Herbert, Jones or Vaughan, another with the arms of Fielding impaling another (see online impressions of marks), together with A Gilt Suspension Pendant, in the form of an eagle with a serpent in its beak, 59g all in (6)

By family repute these were the property of Alleyne FitzHerbert, who was the UK Ambassador to Catherine The Great from 1783-1787 and to Alexander I from 1801-1802, during which time he was created Lord St Helens

Overall good order, no damage to matrix's. Some rubbing to mounts as would be expected.
