Taxidermy: A Large Late Victorian Diorama of Asian Pheasants, by C Helstrip, 13, St Saviours Place, York, specimens to include - two Golden Pheasant cock birds one perched upon a branch the other below amongst tall grasses and fauna, a female Golden Pheasant with head lowered and tail raised amongst fauna and grasses, a Lady Amherst's Pheasant cock bird perched upon a high branch with head arched back, a female Lady Amherst's Pheasant below perched upon moss covered faux rock work, all amongst tall grasses and fauna, a central large branch set against a painted woodland scene highlighted with pastel, enclosed within a large period ebonised single glass display case, 104cm by 53.5cm by 141cm, small taxidermists trade label to inside left, a full taxidermists full paper trade label to the verso C.Helstrip, Bird And Animal Preserver, 13, St Savious Place, York, Heads of Favourite Cattle, Deer
