Taxidermy: European Polecat (Mustela putorius), circa 1880-1900, by James Hutchings of Aberystwyth, full mount in aggressive pose with mouth agape, stood upon a large faux rock ledge with a thrush prey underfoot, amongst a natural setting of tall grasses and ferns, set against a water colour painted back board, enclosed within a typical ebonised three-glass display case with gilded moulding, 51cm by 17.5cm by 53cm
