Taxidermy: African Spotted Eagle-Owl (Bubo africanus), circa late 20th century, by H.R.Bennetts of Hainford, a modern full mount perched upon a large tree stump with head turning to the right, a Namaqua Sandgrouse prey under foot, set amongst a natural setting of ferns, tall grasses and fauna, with a trademark snail below, mounted against a pale blue painted back board, enclosed within a period ebonised three-glass display case with gilded moulding, 51cm by 28.5cm by 63.5cm, taxidermist's trade to interior lower left
