Taxidermy: Majorcan Goat (Capra hircus var.Majorcan), circa late 20th century, shoulder mount with head turning to the right, mounted upon a carved Austro-German shield, 51cm from the wall, height 69cm

Considered to be feral descendants of early Domestic Goats. They were introduced to Mediterranean islands in prehistoric times and are clearly distinct from modern domestic and feral goats.
