Taxidermy: Wolverine (Gulo gulo), circa late 20th century, Canada, flat skin with head mount, jaw agape, with limbs outstretched, backed onto a brown felt backing with serrated edge, hanging eyes attached to underside for wall hanging, nose to tail 115cm, across the fore limbs 83cm

The wolverine (Gulo is Latin for "glutton"), also referred to as the glutton, carcajou, skunk bear, or quickhatch, is the largest land-dwelling species of the family Mustelidae. It is a stocky and muscular carnivore, more closely resembling a small bear than other mustelids.
