Taxidermy: A Large Victorian Cased Diorama of Various Estuary and Wading Birds, by Henry Ward 1812-1878, Late William, 2 Vere Street, Oxford Street, London, a large display case containing eleven various male and female estuary & wading birds including - Black-Tailed Godwit, Bar-Tailed Godwit, Red-Necked Phalarope, Grey Phalarope, etc, all mounted amidst faux rock ledges, seaweeds, tall grasses and fauna, with shale and sea shells to the floor, all enclosed within a large painted single-glass display case, 91cm by 31cm by 91cm, taxidermists paper trade label to interior lower left

outer case has been re-painted in gloss white paint, edges to the case in need of repair, birds contained within are in good clean condition, 18/01/19
