Charles I (1625-1649), Shillings (2), Tower mint, Group C, type 2a, third crowned bust, mark of value behind, rev. oval garnished shield, CR above, mm. rose, 5.84g, (S.2784); Group F, type 4.4, sixth large 'Briot's bust' with double arched crown, mark of value behind, rev. square topped shield over cross moline, mm. triangle in circle, 5.66g, (S.2799). The first nearly very fine, the second very fine but slightly weakly struck to the centres
