A Rare Art Deco Rock Crystal, Enamel and Diamond Set Strut Desk Timepiece, signed Cartier, circa 1925, lever movement, 2-1/2-inch white enamel chapter ring with gold Roman numerals, dial centre with engine turned guilloche enamel, star and poker diamond set hands, square rock crystal case with diamond set bezel and central interlaced L boss, rock crystal hinged easel back and chrome plated backplate signed Cartier 119, numbered 6981 (repeated behind the chrome dial surround), 9.2cm wide, with original gilt tooled pink leather and silk lined fitted case, 12.5cm overall

15.05.12, Rock crystal case with all four corners having small chips, back bottom right hand side with a bigger chip measuring approx 5mm in length, left hand side back edge with very minor chips, case back with a small chip underside of movement surround, case back hinged easel with some very minor chips to the top side, chrome surfaces with minor scratches, diamonds to the front of the case look all complete, white enamel chapter ring has come loose from the main dial, chapter ring with light surface scratches in parts, diamonds to the hands are all complete, movement needs cleaning, in going order, original fitted case is worn in parts.
