The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 follows the iconic, hand-crafted design of the original 1950s Bullet. The Enfield is synonymous with Indian motorcycle adventures and was the staple, affordable workhorse on the British roads pre 1970.
The reintroduction of the Royal Enfield to the UK roads in the late 1980s, now made under licence by the indigenous Indian Madras Motors in Chennai, India. Royal Enfield can now boast the prize of being the oldest global manufacturing brand in continuous production!
The introduction of a five-speed gearbox meant that Royal Enfield could 'fix' one of the long-standing quirks of the Bullet design-the foot-brake is on the left side while the gearshift is on the right.
For those that wanted a classic style motorcycle with pedigree but were not interested in fixing old motorcycles on the side of the road, this was the perfect option. Basically, a brand new classic bike with no oil leaks, modern brakes, lighting and a smooth gear change.
This 2001 Bullet is in fabulous condition, showing low miles. Clearly owned by an enthusiast, it is showing no signs of wear or corrosion, paintwork is excellent and mechanically as you would expect from a well cared for example.
Ready to ride and enjoy.

We cannot guarantee a reply to any requests made within 48 hours of the start of the auction. The absence of a Condition Report from a lot does not mean that the lot is in perfect condition.
