Early 19th Century Scottish Needlework, depicting a central grey stone house flanked by decorative peacocks and trees, with a decorative floral frieze above and garden below terminating with rabbits and dogs bedside trees, within a floral border, the name Jean Ranken worked in red cross stitch and the family initials, gilt frame, 43.5cm by 37.5cm

Slight staining to backing cloth. Five tiny holes to right hand side and about five thread pulls to the left. Some fading to the threads, chip and wear to frame.
