Taxidermy: A Cased Red Grouse (Lagopus lagopus), by Macleay Taxidermy of Inverness, a full mount cock bird, stood upon a large painted faux rock, amidst heather, ferns, tall grasses and fauna, above a pebbled floor, set against a pale blue painted back board, enclosed within a typical period ebonised three-glass display case, 49cm by 17cm by 50cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior lower left, bearing brass plaque "Shot with 22 Bore Rifle, 29th Sept 1905"
