An Edward VII Silver-Plated Choral Shield, by Elkington, Dated 1908, the oak support with easel back and applied with a silver-plated plaque formed as a harp on green-painted background with the legend 'Tyndale Musical Competitions Village Choral Societys Open Class', above a plaque chased with a scene of Orpheus playing the lyre, engraved with an inscription, further applied with differing silver of silver-plated plaques and shields engraved with names of recipients, 85cm high

The inscription reads 'Challenge Shield Presented by W. D. Cruddas of Haughton Castle 1906'
