Taxidermy: A Cased Barn Owl (Tito alba), circa Sept 05th 1922, by John Cooper & Sons, 28 Radnor Street, St Luke's, London, a full mount adult perched upon a moss encrusted branch, issuing from soil, pebble and moss covered groundwork, amidst tall grasses and fauna, set against an oil painted pale blue sky back board, enclosed within a typical ebonised bow-fronted three-glass display case with verre eglomise border, 38.5cm by 16.5cm by 42cm, taxidermist's full paper trade label to interior upper left, gilt text to front glass "Barn Owl, caught Sept 5th 1922, Bury, Amberley, Sussex"
