Time staining to paper. The work appears to have been rolled at some point perhaps? Causing horizontal creases throughout and in many places causing the paint to crack or appear scuffed with associated losses. Areas of small to medium sized foxing throughout. Fine craquelure to areas of black paint in particular to the small shape right of centre. Green mark upper left approximately 2cm in length. Not examined out of the frame, see additional images.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
