The New Paris Conversation Fan for 1802: a small Regency paper fan, printed to the recto with questions to the left and answers to the right, a central oval with the title as above, a smaller vignette beneath stating "Pub'by the Proprietor N 42 Pall Mall April 27th 1802. Underneath swags of laurel, beside cornucopia, in English and in French, the questions include "Are you lively in love?", "Are you easy to be gained?", "Aimez-vous que l'on vous presse? with a selection of answers including " You may be afraid of it", "Assez souvent" and "tis my weaknefs". Mounted on plain pale simple wood sticks, the verso is plain, cream. Guard length 7 inches or 17.75cm

. Very good for a fan of this type. Noticeable rubbing to one fold, to the left and some slight loss to the gold edge along the leaf lower edge, but otherwise clean, sound.
