A Group of Late 18th/19th and Early 20th Century Folding Fans plus one small cockade, the latter folding down to secure the sticks within the handles when closed. Overall height 6 inches or 15cm; A slender fan with plain monture and undecorated cream leaf, possibly 18th century. Guard length 9.5 inches or 24cm; A gold sequin fan c 1910, the monture lightly carved and gilded, the sequins embroidered onto gauze in vertical panels. Guard length 9.5/8 inches or 24cm; A small fan with silvered carving to the monture, cream gauze leaf painted in violet with a young girl seated outside and decorated with gold sequins; A plain bone 19th century fan with black silk satin leaf, black cotton to the verso, Guard length 9.25 inches or 23.5cm; a bone fan possibly 18th century, the double paper leaf embossed with gold flowers to the recto and a regular scrolling pattern to the verso. Guard length 9.5 inches or 24cm. And a bone fan with lightly carved monture and white cotton leaf painted with a dragonfly hovering over water. Guard length 9.5 inches or 24cm (7)

. Fan 1 in good order, fan 2 is sound. Fan 3 has some splits starting to several folds and one stick needs to be moved slightly. Fan 4 has a splitting leaf. Fan 5 sound, fan 6, the leaf is tarnish d in places. Fan 7, the leaf is splitting.
