A Rare 18 Carat Gold Automatic Calendar Centre Seconds Wristwatch with Unusual Shaped "Batman" Cowl Shaped Lugs, signed Vacheron Constantin, so called "Batman", model: Chronometre Royal, ref: 6694, circa 1965, (calibre K1072) lever movement signed and numbered 570887, stamped twice with a Geneva seal mark, adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, micrometer regulator, automatic rotor rim stamped 18c, silvered dial with baton markers, date aperture, large "Batman" cowl shaped lugs, screw back stamped inside with maker's mark Vacheron Constantin and numbered 404078 6694, convention mark, Vacheron Constantin 18 carat gold textured bracelet with clasp stamped 0.750, 35mm wide see illustration

This rare example is made even more unusual by its unique shaped lugs, resembling the shape of Batman's famous cowl, hence its catchy "Batman" nickname by collectors

28.01.20 Case and bracelet with surface scratches, case sides and bezel edges with some dents, later crown, plexi glass with scratches, dial with minor spotting stain marks which are only visible under an eyeglass, hand setting correctly, date is changing correctly, movement in going order. Total watch weight 109g.
