Capriccio with Roman ruins
Black ink and monochrome wash, together with a collection of sketches and works on paper to include "Tivoli", a landscape by the Rev William Gilpin, marine views, one depicting "Old Battersea Bridge", a Swiss Lake view, a landscape study with buildings reputedly by Richard Cooper Jnr, "View on the Rhine" by an anonymous hand, a study of a goat by Robert Hills, and "Craft in a faint breeze" by Sir Augustus Wall Calcott, etc. 18.5cm by 24cm and various other sizes, mounted, unframed (qty)

. All works being mounted and unframed and therefore being loose works on paper displaying the usual and associated condition issues as a result. However brief Style of Claude - Stuck to backing board along top edge. General diagonal creasing to upper left hand corner. Lesser creasing to upper right hand corner and other edges and corners. Light time staining. Very odd foxing spot, most prominent being a single example immediately above the upper reaches of rounded classical building. Style of Turner - affixed along top edge. Surface dirt, light time staining, odd foxing mark. Some subtle handling creases. Attr. Robert Hills - Fixed to back along top edge. Losses to upper corners. Surface dirt, time staining and odd light foxing spot. Diagonal crease along lower left hand corner to lower right hand corner etc... Tivoli - Affixed along top edge. Light time staining, surface dirt, subtle handling creases. Rhine - Affixed with tape at upper corners. Time staining & odd foxing spot. Attr. Gilpin - Affixed along top edge. Odd small foxing spot. Time staining & surface dirt. Some subtle handling creases. Attr. Calcott - Affixed to mount on all four sides. 3-5 nicks to paper or imperfections mostly in and around the central area. Light surface dirt and time staining. More pronounced patch of discolouration around trowing boat in foreground left hand side. Swiss Lakeside - Stuck down to edges. Time staining to sheet. Essentially vertical surface scuff within upper pat of mountain left hand side and approx 6cm in length. Further vertical surface scratch approx 6cm in length approx centre of sheet and 2cm from right hand side edge. The remaining watercolours in comparable condition to previously mentioned
