. In an overall good state of preservation. The highlights within the sky have discoloured and are showing as a light yellow-brown. Some of the detailing in the mountains on the right hand side and highlighted elements within the upper reaches of the hilltop supporting the castle to the left of this have also oxidised to a more pronounced ochre to terracotta colour depth. The colour depth broadly remains good and mostly intact. Further more pronounced oxidation around the white highlights indicating the edges of the lake within the foreground. Some pencil working still in evidence above the tower to the left and around the trees. No evidence of cockling. Not examined out of the frame.
