Taxidermy: A Late Victorian Diorama of British Birds, circa 1898, by Francis Artlett, Bird Stuffer, Carver & Gilder, 328 Commercial Road, Landport, a large diorama of eighteen various British birds, including - Nightjar, Stone Curlew, Crossbills, Long-tailed tit, Blue tit, Stonechat, Linnet, Greenfinch, Willow Wren, Cole tit, Whitethroat, etc, a full hand written key to verso of case, all mounted upon a centrally positioned branch, set against a watercolour painted sky back drop, enclosed within a period scumbled pine three-glass display case, 71.5cm by 23cm by 65cm, taxidermist's trade stamp to interior lower left
