French Fabric Sample Boo, late 19th century
First paper titled Flanelle Tunisienne, 24 April 1890, each page has a blue bordered frame to fit 14 samples, 10cm by 5cm by 5.5cm, each sample numbered, enclosing printed flannel with black red and blue sprigs, floral motifs on cream flannel, spots, checks and stripes, robe flannel in checks, stripes, spots on blue grounds, printed cottons on white with cats, huntsmen, stags heads, horse shoes, fine cretonne fabrics printed with jockeys and Chinese figures, abstract, checks, stripes, spots, horseshoes, patchwork, seated dog with Eiffel Tower, cow parsley etc

. Ledger 1- handful of stained pages, some of edges of pages are split, other wise ok. Ledger 2 - approximately 65 samples missing. Several pages are discoloured and pages are worn especially to the edges.
