1 is signed ''In the High Alps'' has time staining to paper and the odd handling crease within the margins. Two pieces of old brown tape attached to the top corners within the margins. Tear approximately 1cm within the right margin. Thumb mark top edge within the margin. Some sporadic medium sized foxing evident, in particular four brown spots within the teal colour lower right right of centre and one to the left margin. Top and bottom edges a little tatty. The others are in a similar condition to the former as they have all been housed in the artist's original portfolio, except ''New Zurich'' the example with the pink roofs and mountains, this has more significant foxing to the reverse which is showing through in particular to the centre of the image, to the left of the church, to the trees in the foreground lower right and to the pale green below the houses lower right and areas of the sky.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
