Lot 32 of 242: A Rare 18th Century Irish Officer's Silver Crossbelt Plate to Linen Hall Corps, of oval form, engraved with a crowned Maid of Erin harp flanked by the date 1796 and with ribbon bands engraved LINEN HALL CORPS, the reverse with two hooks and two fixing studs, struck ST twice and LT once, no date letter or assay office mark, 35.6gms, 8.2cm by 6cm, with a hand written historical note.
