A Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Jno Walker, Newcastle, late 18th century, pierced swan neck pediment, later floral and urn painted trunk door and base, 12-inch arch brass dial, dial centre engraved with floral and scroll decoration, seconds dial and date aperture, silvered disc in the arch for strike/silent selection and signed, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 224cm high see illustration

11.06.20 Top pierced pediment has been later added, top left hand side of the swan neck pediment needs securing into position, top detail frieze moulding blocks are missing in parts, case with small cracks in parts, left hand side of the base needs securing and restoration, front of the base moulding and the right hand foot are missing, strike/silent dial is slightly discoloured, movement looks complete, with two weights and a pendulum.
