A Scottish Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, signed Willm Dobbie, Falkirk, Number 371, circa 1780, swan neck pediment, acorn and scroll decorated trunk door, Corinthian capped inset pilasters, 13-1/4-inch arch brass dial, engraved dial centre with floral and scroll decoration, date aperture and seconds dial, arch with circular disc signed, four pillar movement with an anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 220cm high see illustration

19.03.20 Hood with detail mouldings missing in parts, small parts of the fret work is missing to the front part of the hood, backing to the frets is damaged, trunk door is slightly bowed, case is slightly faded in parts, dial is discoloured, movement needs cleaning, date disc appears to have no drive to change the date over, with two weights and a pendulum.
