Provenance: private client. Father purchased at auction approximately 50 years ago. No further provenance. Both in poor condition. Timber is very dry and numerous splits throughout. Very weathers. Lion photographed on the right, further large splits to base. Lion to the left in poor condition with gap in arm and further large split to base.

Regarding Pictures, Prints and Works on Paper, works are not examined out of the frame, unless specifically stated. Tennants Auctioneers do not cover damage to gilded wood or plaster picture frames, or to picture frame glass whilst the item is in our possession.
