Taxidermy: A Large Cased Diorama of Birds Native to Australasia, circa 1872, Australia, attributed to Rowland Ward, The Jungle, 166 Piccadilly, London, an impressive and rare diorama of various tropical birds native to Australasia, all mounted upon a centrally mounted branch, issuing from painted and fauna covered groundwork, comprising of sixty one bird specimens, to include - Rainbow Bee Eater, Dollarbird, Regent Bowerbird, Satin Bowerbird, Diamond Firetail, Scarlet Honey Eater, King Bird of Paradise, Crimson Rosella Parrot, Blue Bonnet, Rose-crowned Fruit Pigeon, Musk Lorikeet, Fan Tailed Cuckoo, Superb Lyre Bird, Wonga Pigeon, etc, further bird identification available in condition report, enclosed within a walk around four-glass oak framed floor standing display case, 172cm by 65.5cm by 168cm, bearing copper shield - ''Australia, Collected By H.H.L.P''.
