An Early 20th Century Russian Knife, the 22cm double edge plated steel blade with a central narrow fuller, each side etched with a foliate cartouche enclosing buildings and inscribed Zlatoust, the steel hilt with globular quillons chequered ebony square section grip and triple lobed pommel engraved with foliate strapwork, the red velvet covered steel scabbard with similar engraved decoration and single suspension ring, 38cm Footnote:- Zlatoust is one of the centres of artistic engraving on metal in Russia which was traditionally found on knives, swords and tableware.

. Small areas of rust pitting to the edges of the blade. The steel mounts have orange rust pitting which would clean off. The velvet on the scabbard has wear to the edges.
