Sale Information

A sale of rare, antique and intriguing printed and other works. With several religious and theological books, such as a dozen versions of the Bible in English, including several 16th and 17th-century editions and a Baskerville Bible. High spots include John Wilkins’ anonymously published Discovery of a World in the Moone; Humphrey Repton’s “Red Book” for the Brighton Pavilion; Mrs Clark’s Summer Scenes in Kashmeer; and a number of attractive 19th-century albums of watercolours of European and Chinese scenes.
