Sale Information

Over 300 lots to include a superb private collection of cased and preserved fish by John Cooper & Sons and W.F.Homer, various examples by renowned fish specialist William Griggs for John Cooper. Part 1 of a private collection of mounted Fox and Badger cases by James Hutchings of Aberystwyth, North Wales, with the remainder to be sold later in 2020. An interesting and important private collection of Austro-German and European antler furniture, including armchairs, chandeliers, chambersticks and wall appliques.

Also included is a comprehensive selection of high-quality cased animals and birds by Norther master-taxidermist Tony Armitstead of Darlington, Co Durham, and a varied selection of mounted Red Fox masks by renowned historical taxidermists including Rowland Ward, Peter Spicer and Henry Murray.
